Information For Our Upcoming Free Winter Coat Event + Photo Waiver Information

Wilkes Families,

We are excited to remind you that on Tuesday, October 27, every Wilkes student will receive a free winter jacket through Operation Warm, a non-profit organization, with support from FedEx.

Volunteers from Operation Warm and FedEx will be on hand to help students select a color and be fitted for their new jacket. We are grateful for their generosity and look forward to seeing our students stay warm this winter.

During the event, representatives from Operation Warm and local media may be recording video or taking photos to share with supporters. Every student received a waiver today in their Green Roar Folder that allows them to be photographed during the event. If you would like your child to be photographed, please sign the waiver and return it to school on Monday or Tuesday.

Please know that every student will receive a jacket, whether or not the waiver is signed. Students without a signed waiver will not be photographed or recorded.

Thank you for your support.  We look forward to this amazing event!

Have a great weekend.
